The goal was 40 miles, but ran into a dead end due to bridge repair along the trail. I had to settle for 36 miles. But that's ok since this was the first longer ride of the year. Better to start back up gradually. Although I did feel great at the end. I do love this route. Likely one of my all time favorite long ride routes. Compares well, but not better than the American River paved path in Sacramento.
