The weather was 70° today, great day for a bike ride. There hasn’t been many good riding days lately, but I suspect I’ll start to get more and more of those beginning this week. I am still complying with the social distancing rules but was able to get a nice solo bike ride in.
Follow my continuing passion to explore new adventures on Porsche bicycles. I have conquered a Century ride with a Porsche mountain bike, the Death Ride on a Porsche touring bike, the 184.5-mile Chesapeake & Ohio Canal Towpath in 2020, the 370-mile combined C&O/GAP trail in 2021 and the 237-mile Florida Coast to Coast ride in 2022. And just completed the Maryland and California Coast & Coast Porsche road bike adventure!

Great Porsche day
Today was a trifecta of Porsche goodness. First my Boxster 986 was shown in a PCA video. I had an amazing drive with the top down. Second, I rode the 1998 Porsche Bike S for an hour around my neighborhood logging 11 miles. And third, I qualified second in a practice SIM race driving a 911. A good day for sure.

Pandemic ride 3
Another short ride around my neighborhood. I’m still trying to comply with the stay at home order. So I think this is as close to Disney World as I’m going to get.

Pandemic ride 2
Another neighborhood ride during the stay-at-home order today. I was able to sneak in 12.5 miles this time riding up and down every road I could find. Sure were a lot of cars driving around today when everyone is supposed to stay home...

Pandemic ride
Even with the stay-at-home order during the global Pandemic, the state of Maryland allows for "outside exercise" which I took to mean a bike ride is ok. I decided to honor this mandate by riding close to my home. I really wanted to get in an hour ride around the airport loop, but instead just headed from my driveway and meandered around the neighborhood roads. But I still got in an hour and the 11 miles. The weather was fantastic and people were out walking about everywhere.
