Jogged a slow and easy recovery 3.1 miles today after yesterday’s timed 5K. Felt good. Legs a little sore and heavy. I am hoping to run 4 miles tomorrow afternoon before my scheduled rest day.
Follow my continuing passion to explore new adventures on Porsche bicycles. I have conquered a Century ride with a Porsche mountain bike, the Death Ride on a Porsche touring bike, the 184.5-mile Chesapeake & Ohio Canal Towpath in 2020, the 370-mile combined C&O/GAP trail in 2021 and the 237-mile Florida Coast to Coast ride in 2022. And just completed the Maryland and California Coast & Coast Porsche road bike adventure!

Garage time
Love hanging out in my garage. I’m starting to line up a few winter car and bike projects around my running schedule. Living in Maryland makes winters, which aren’t too cold, possible for garage car work. A small heater sometimes helps. Last winter I changed out the struts on the Boxster. This winter might be Cayenne brakes, oil changes and a few other smaller projects.

Green Porsche Bike
A friend found a green Porsche Bike for sale on Craigslist. Until now I've only seen the white Bike or Bike S from the current line of Porsche Bikes. Apparently, this forest green color was included in the line, likely around the 2012-2014 range. I love finding new Porsche bikes or colors. Great find!

Greenwich Concours, part one
I drove up to Greenwich, Connecticut for the Greenwich Concours. Today featured the 'Porschella' car display. These photos are my favorite cars.
Treadmill running on the road
On the road for a car show event this weekend, I got in some treadmill time with the Porsche Design Endurance Boost running shoes. Early morning today. I hope I can do the same tomorrow.

Bike Spyder #37 coming to the USA!
In what has been an amazing personal experience in my Porsche-life, I have organized the purchase of the Weissach Bike Spyder 37/200 from the bike's first and only owner in Germany. I had help from a new friend and son of the person that created the original Porsche Bike Spyder 9.85 prototype. Ten PCA members combined our efforts to fund this purchase and I led the communication with the seller. The money was wired and my new friend is picking up the bike tomorrow. Our team's goal is to set up a photo shoot with this bike, the prototype and the gentlemen responsible for the first Porsche bicycle. The photos will end up with a story about Porsche Bikes in an upcoming Porsche Panorama magazine. Once the photos are taken, we're planning to ship the bike from Europe to the US and display the Bike Spyder #37 at the PCA National office for all to see. We'll include pages from the May 1991 Christophorus magazine that features the prototype Bike Spyder in the display.
