Now I have photos of all three 2004 Bike X frame sizes and have posted them here together. I have the large size frame (bottom photo).
Follow my continuing passion to explore new adventures on Porsche bicycles. I have conquered a Century ride with a Porsche mountain bike, the Death Ride on a Porsche touring bike, the 184.5-mile Chesapeake & Ohio Canal Towpath in 2020, the 370-mile combined C&O/GAP trail in 2021 and the 237-mile Florida Coast to Coast ride in 2022. And just completed the Maryland and California Coast & Coast Porsche road bike adventure!
Another 2004 Bike X is for sale on the German eBay site. This one looks like a medium frame. This is only the fourth I've seen listed. I read on one listing that Porsche only made 250 of these. So ultra rare among the rare Porsche Bikes. Now I've seen all three sizes.
Qualified P17 and up to P15 before I got crashed into at Auto Club Speedway in the GT3 R. I got hit twice on the opening lap and then again a few laps later, wrecking my car. That's sim racing I guess.
Getting to the last months of the year, I always start thinking about my next goals for the new year. I like to have goals to keep me inspired and keep me training. Next year I'm thinking about making a run at being the first person to complete a 5K, 10K and half marathon in one year ... wearing Porsche Design running shoes. I'm sure just about any serious runner could do this, but I have not found anyone on the internet that has made that claim.
My goal will be to train in the winter with my Porsche Design Endurance Boost 1.0 running shoes, which I'm off to a great start so far. Then race a 5k in the early spring with the Porsche Design Endurance Boost 2.0 running shoes. Step up to a 10K in late spring or early summer with the Endurance Boost 2.0. And finish with a fall half marathon again with the 2.0 shoes. I have a couple other pairs of Porsche Design running shoes, but I really like the Endurance Boost. I might mix in some training with the other PD shoes though.
Here are some of the Maryland running races I'm considering:
Another slow 5K with the Porsche Design Endurance Boost running shoes today. Just building my base right now. And I received a second copy of the May 1991 Christophorus magazine today. Something special is coming up…
Just getting back into this running game can be slow and painful. After a new 2021 5K personal best yesterday, today was a slow and painful four-mile jog. I do love these Porsche Design Endurance Boost running shoes though.
I have created a Strava 5K course from my house through my neighborhood park and back home. I seem to be improving with each run. Unfortunately nowhere near my lifetime 20-minute 5K personal record, but it's a start toward my 2022 goals. I'll keep running this route and see how I do. Today was again with the Porsche Design Endurance Boost running shoes.
If the rumors are correct, it looks rather imminent that Porsche will announce entry into the 2026 Formula One season. I hope so!

After discovering only three Weissach Bike Spyders (#33, #37 and #39) sold on the German eBay website, I noticed all three had different frame sizes. This looks to be small, medium and large size bikes. Above shows a comparison.
Follow up: I found the Bike Spyder was produced in five sizes, 16.5, 18, 19, 20, 21 inch frames.
I found another Bike Spyder that sold on the German eBay site back in 2014. This is #39/200 (actually 39 of 50) and weighed 8484 grams.
Here's a cool webpage sharing information about the initial run of Porsche Bikes in the late 1990s.
I haven't been posting here lately since most of my Porsche Bike updates are now on the Facebook Porsche Bike Group page. Go to Facebook...
