Back home run

Back home from sunny and warm Huntington Beach in California to the cool autumn of Maryland, the first thing I wanted to do was run four miles in my little park. I ran my usual route with my usual running shoes (PD Endurance Boost). Ah, the comforts of home.

1/64 scale Schuco Porsche transport arrived today. Had to take a “period accurate” photo. Love this new model!

Favorite at ünStock

 

Without a doubt, my favorite at the ünStock all-modified Huntington Beach, California Porsche-only car show was the genuine Porsche Transsyberia Cayenne S. The only Cayenne at the show and one of 26 Cayennes built for the grueling TransSyberia Rally race. And the tow car? A Porsche Transsyberia tribute Cayenne of course!

Modified Porsche ünStock event today

Today was the first-ever all-modified Porsche car show in the Los Angeles area. The event was called ünStock and I had a hand in setting it up. Here are a few photos. I didn’t get a chance to take many photos, but there were just over 100 cars. I loved the metallic green 914. That color reminded me of my first car … a metallic green 1977 Volkswagen Scirocco. 

Porsche Experience Center Los Angeles

Visited the Porsche Experience Center in Los Angeles today. Today was the 5th anniversary of this first PEC location in the United States. To celebrate some interesting Porsches were on display including the brand new fully electric Mission R prototype race car.

Bike Spyder boxed up

Bike Spyder #37 made in Weissach, Germany is boxed up in Austria and heading back to Germany for shipping to Maryland. Can’t wait to see this bike in person. 

Huntington Beach

Flew to Huntington Beach, California today for a Porsche modified car show this weekend. Already saw some cool Porsches and had dinner at the Biergarten at Old World in Huntington Beach. Good start to the weekend.
