Warm morning 2004 Porsche Bike X ride from my home out and around BWI airport and back. Nice ride, but a little on the warm side.
Follow my continuing passion to explore new adventures on Porsche bicycles. I have conquered a Century ride with a Porsche mountain bike, the Death Ride on a Porsche touring bike, the 184.5-mile Chesapeake & Ohio Canal Towpath in 2020, the 370-mile combined C&O/GAP trail in 2021 and the 237-mile Florida Coast to Coast ride in 2022. And just completed the Maryland and California Coast & Coast Porsche road bike adventure!

Laguna Seca Historics
This weekend was light on professional sports car racing action. But what the weekend lacked in pro racing; it made up with historic racing. Laguna Seca again hosted the Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion, and I was there to see some of the best Porsche race cars from the 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s. The Motorsports Reunion is a great addition to Monterey car week and PCA always attends this annual August event in force with a giant tent at turn five. The tent is a great viewing location and has live streaming race coverage from around the track on a large TV. Lunch and beverages also allow Porsche racing enthusiasts to hang out there all day. My favorite part of this event is always walking the paddock and seeing all my favorite Porsche racers in their original liveries. Everything from the Rothmans 956, Coca-Cola 962, Interscope 935 K3, Gulf 917K, John Paul JLP-3, Targa Floria 908/3, Momo 935, and more. This event definitely gets me excited for Rennsport Reunion next September … which everyone was talking about on Saturday.
