Garage space in Maryland is hard to find. So this tight quarters for my cars is the best I could do. I look forward to painting the walls, cabinets and floors and hanging the Porsche posters.
Follow my continuing passion to explore new adventures on Porsche bicycles. I have conquered a Century ride with a Porsche mountain bike, the Death Ride on a Porsche touring bike, the 184.5-mile Chesapeake & Ohio Canal Towpath in 2020, the 370-mile combined C&O/GAP trail in 2021 and the 237-mile Florida Coast to Coast ride in 2022. And just completed the Maryland and California Coast & Coast Porsche road bike adventure!

Vehicle transportation from California
Oh, I'm nervous about this! But the cars need to get to Maryland. So, they're off from Truckee, California!

Porsche monopoly
A good friend of mine just gave me a complete set of pewter Porsche cars from the 1980s Porsche Monopoly game. This game was a marketing promo produced by Porsche Cars North America. I have long wanted this set and have also long forgotten about it. And today I was surprised!

Porsche wins!
Porsche just won the GTE Pro and GTE Am classes at the 2018 24 Hours of Le Mans! The Pink Pig 911 RSR won the GTE Pro with the Rothmans livery car in second and Dempsey took his first team Le Mans win in the Am category.
What a great race!
24 hours is a long time to race and a long time to watch a race. Camped out watching on TV and my computer seems to be my tradition. I love all this live coverage. Now it's time to sleep.

24 Hours of Le Mans
A good start for Porsche to the 2018 24 Hours of Le Mans. But it's a loooong race. I'm watching on TV and streaming as usual!

70th celebration at Niello Porsche dealership
The event was well attended and part of the global party to support and share the anniversary of the first car to bear the Porsche name. I met a few people from the Sacramento Valley Region and Sierra Nevada Region that I know.
The cars on display were incredible. Everything from early 356s to a 918 Spyder were in the dealership parking lot. I saw many 911s, a 912, a couple 914s, a 944, 968, a couple 928s and of course many Macans, Cayennes and Panameras.
It was a great time! Tomorrow is over to Reno for the next stop in the Porsche 70th anniversary tour!
