Here is a link to my latest story on the PCA National website!
Follow my continuing passion to explore new adventures on Porsche bicycles. I have conquered a Century ride with a Porsche mountain bike, the Death Ride on a Porsche touring bike, the 184.5-mile Chesapeake & Ohio Canal Towpath in 2020, the 370-mile combined C&O/GAP trail in 2021 and the 237-mile Florida Coast to Coast ride in 2022. And just completed the Maryland and California Coast & Coast Porsche road bike adventure!

Great article! I have a 98 Porsche Bike FS I bought brand new. I did a two day, 72 mile ride several years ago (I'm 62 now). I still ride it almost daily. I put over 300 miles on it in June for a childhood cancer fundraising project, Great bikes!
ReplyDeleteHi Bruce, thanks for reading my little story. Daily rides, huh? That's very impressive! The FS is a very nice mountain bike. Where do you ride? If you're ever in the Tahoe area we should go for a ride. I'm no speed demon, but can ride for 30-50 miles these days.
ReplyDeleteI'm in Columbia, MO. I ride the Katy Trail mostly. Not nearly as nice as the Tahoe area!
ReplyDeleteWhat Porsche do you drive?
ReplyDeleteI have a 2001 Boxster and a 2006 Cayenne S. In Tahoe the Boxster is only for summer and the Cayenne is winter and dragging the family around. I have two Bike S mountain bikes. So the garage is a all-Porsche afair! What do you have?
ReplyDeleteAny chance you're heading to PCA's Treffen in September? If so, bring your bike!
ReplyDeleteI have an 86 factory Turbo Look Targa and a 97 911 Turbo S
ReplyDeleteNice! Two 911s. Good choice!
ReplyDeleteBruce, do you have any interest meeting up some time in 2017 to ride an organized ride? That would make a great story - two obsessed Porsche enthusiasts riding their bikes!?!
